Dr. Ehrlich graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.  After graduation she worked for two veterinary hospitals and then in 1992 started Pet Calls as a veterinary house call practice.  As the practice grew, in order to provide the utmost care to her patients, it became necessary to have her own hospital.  In January 1999 she proudly opened Pet Calls Animal Hospital.  Pet Calls became an American Animal Hospital Association certified practice in 2003.

Dr. Roberts graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Following graduation, he completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Florida Veterinary Specialists.  After his internship Dr Roberts practiced in several small animal referral facilities focusing on emergency and critical care.  Dr Roberts joined Pet Calls in June of 2009.

Dr. Tepper graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She completed a rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital and then a neurology internship at Mississippi State. After her internships , Dr. Tepper worked at two veterinary hospitals, moved to Florida and joined Pet Calls team  this August. She enjoys general practice and when not at work, appreciates the time she spends with her family.

Dr. Abolafia graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. After graduation, Dr. Abolafia worked for a veterinary hospital in Broward County for three years before moving further north and joining the Pet Calls team in July 2019. She became certified in veterinary acupuncture at the Chi Institute and enjoys offering this alternative therapy to her patients when it is beneficial. When Dr. Abolafia is not at Pet Calls, she loves traveling, exploring new restaurants, outdoor activities, and spending time with family, friends, and of course her pup, Zoey.  

Dr. Mayer-Roenne graduated from the  University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, Austria in 2002. She completed a rotating small animal internship at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. In 2004. In 2006 Dr. Mayer-Roenne  worked as an emergency and critical care staff veterinarian at Cornell University, NY. Dr. Mayer-Roenne then went on to complete a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge, LA.

Dr. Mayer-Roenne moved to Florida in 2009 and worked as a staff internist at Pet PB, Animal Emergency and Referral Center.  Dr. Mayer-Roenne became a Diplomate of the ACVIM in 2011. In 2013 she started her own mobile practice providing internal medicine, ultrasound and endoscopy services to veterinary clinics in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Dr. Spranklin is a fifth-generation veterinarian. He received his D.V.M. from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and completed his internship at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Spranklin completed his surgical residency at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. He performs soft tissue, orthopedic and oncologic surgeries. He is a board-certified member of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) as well as a member of the AVMA and BCVMA. Dr. Spranklin strives to provide the newest techniques and procedures in veterinary surgery to offer our patients both state-of-the-art and
personalized care.

Diplomate, American Veterinary Dental College

Fellow, Academy of Veterinary Dentistry A Maryland native, Dr. Brown, received her Bachelor’s degree in 1992 from Vassar College. She earned the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999 from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. During her training, she performed biomedical research at the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. After graduation, she returned to Maryland and began practicing small animal medicine. In 2001, Dr. Brown left private practice to pursue her special interest in small animal dentistry by enrolling in a 2 year residency program. Dr. Brown became a diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College and a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry in 2004. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, she is passionate about dentistry with a particular emphasis on oral surgery and endodontic procedures. In addition to her clinical duties, she has actively informed the public about dentistry at regional and national veterinary meetings, visits to local hospitals and through periodic newsletters.
